Born and raised on the Isle of Capri, since a young boy he explored the trails around the limestone cliffs. After working for 5 years in North America he appreciates much more the natural beauties and the outdoors activities such as hiking so he decided to share them with tourists.
Since 1996 he started to lead hiking tours so that tourists could discover beautiful places away from the daily crowds along ancient trails with wonderful panoramas and share local traditions.
In 2002 with some friend he founds Capri Outdoors a volunteer organization that promotes environmental protection, outdoors sports (climbing, hiking, sea-kayaking, survival) and civil defence.
In the last few years, working with different tour operators, he has extended his guided hiking tours also on the Sorrentine Peninsula, Amalfi Coast and Lattari Mountains
Fluent in English, since 2003 he is member of AIGAE, the Italian environmental and hiking guide association.

Nato e cresciuto a Capri, fin da piccolo ha esplorato i sentieri che si sviluppano lungo le rupi dell’isola. Dopo un’esperienza di 5 anni in Nord America ha apprezzato maggiormente le bellezze naturalistiche  dell’isola e le attività all’aria aperta che si possono svolgere quali il trekking, ritenendo di condividerle con i turisti.

Dal 1996 inizia ad accompagnare turisti desiderosi di scoprire i luoghi lontani dal caotico turismo giornaliero percorrendo antichi sentieri immersi nella natura e con panorami straordinari condividendo le antiche tradizioni isolane.

Nel 2002 fonda insieme ad alcuni amici Capri Outdoors un’associazione di volontariato dedita alla salvaguardia ambientale, alla promozione di sport all’aria aperta (arrampicata, trekking, kayak marino, survival) e alla Protezione Civile.

Negli ultimi anni, grazie alla collaborazione con diversi tour operators, ha esteso le proprie escursioni guidate anche lungo i sentieri della Penisola Sorrentina,della Costiera Amalfitana e dei Monti Lattari.

Fluente nella lingua inglese, dal 2003 è socio dell’AIGAE, l’associazione delle guide ambientali e escursionistiche italiane.
